t is somewhat of a secret that the Black Hills of South Dakota extend into Wyoming. Devil's Tower, the first national monument, can be found in the Wyoming Black Hills. With more than 500,000 visitors to the monument each year, plenty of visitors find themselves in the Black Hills of Wyoming. However, few are aware of the close proximity of an extensive trails system which makes it possible to better explore this unique area.
History buffs will find a Wyoming gem in Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site, 29 miles northwest of Thermopolis.
